Question?

Moo's the answer

Milk

Why

fresh milk?

Why not?

Our ancestors consumed milk within the same evening it was milked. Fresh milk, because this is how nature wants you to drink it. The more time between milking and drinking, the more its quality deteriorates. Preservatives ensure milk stays good longer, but it is nothing but chemicals you ingest in small doses.

Why does your fresh milk spoil soon?

Processed milk available in stores is just a white liquid in a tetra pack- not milk. Devoid of beneficial enzymes and gut-friendly microorganisms, packed milk gains its shelf life at the cost of your health benefits

Are A1 and A2 milk breed-specific?

AI and A2 milk is not breed-specific. According to science, all breeds of cows give both types and a combination of these two kinds of milk..

How should I report milk spoilage?

Please boil your milk and report spoilage within 45 mins of delivery.

Why should I boil your milk as soon as I receive it?

Raw, unprocessed, fresh milk with no preservatives has a lower shelf life and can spoil soon. As soon as you receive it, boil it and use it.

Why does packed milk available in stores have a longer shelf life?

Processed milk available in stores is just a white liquid in a tetra pack- not milk. Devoid of beneficial enzymes and gut-friendly microorganisms, packed milk gains its shelf life at the cost of your health benefits

Why buy local milk?

Locally produced milk comes from cows who eat locally grown food variants in their ecosystem. Our cows are well adapted to the native climatic conditions and give milk with the most optimum nutrition.

With every glass of our milk, you also support your local farmer's economic well-being and reduce your carbon footprint!

Why does your milk vary in consistency throughout the year?

The Farming Buddha's milk comes from farms, not factories. We do not standardize and manipulate the milk; what you get is what the cow gives.

Our cows' milk reflects their eating preferences and the weather outside. During summer, they eat dry fodder; and during winter, they eat green fodder. In summer or winter, our cows always eat whatever is locally available.

Why is milk between two farms not identical?

Feeding patterns, cow breeds, and farm management will not be identical on any two farms. However, The Farming Buddha’s basic quality assurance against adulteration strictly applies to all our farms.

Can I make butter from this milk?

Yes. As The Farming Buddha gives you raw, whole milk. Unlike commercially available milk is skimmed of milk solids, you can make butter using cream or curds from the Farming Buddha's milk.

What is the shelf life of your milk ?

The Farming Buddha brings you raw, unprocessed milk completely free of preservatives. It must be consumed immediately after boiling within 6 to 8 hours. If refrigerated at less than 4°C., consume it within 24 hours.

Please note that the shelf life of your milk is lesser in the summer.

Why is the Farming Buddha costlier than factory-produced pouch milk?

Generally, big diaries extract cream from the milk to make butter, ghee, fresh cream and other milk products. The residual white liquid that remains is standardized and sold as milk. Commercially produced milk factories make their profit out of by-products, not milk.

At The Farming Buddha, whole milk is given as is - with its entire nutritional profile untouched. And a fair share of the money you pay goes to the farmers.

Will you send me test results every day?

Yes. Before our milk bottle reaches your door, you will already have your daily test results on the App/web.

Can I feed your milk to an infant baby?

The Farming Buddha's milk is raw, whole, unprocessed milk that should be diluted with water  and boiled before feeding to infants.

Please consult your doctor once .

What is the difference between raw and processed milk?

Compared to commercially available, standardised milk, our whole, raw milk has much more calcium, nutrients, enzymes and gut-friendly microorganisms.

The natural nutritional profile of packed milk is distorted due to processing, whereas our raw, whole milk is milk, as our ancestors drank it.
